The lady was very kind and helpful. She was aware of the missing things in the car and was honest about it, so we didn't have to worry, when we would have later found out. Again the lady was very helpful. She was very listening, when we told her about the small things, that we would improve. And the check out was very painless.

Information provided in advance about parking was incorrect, but we were able to resolve this afterwards. Thanks to this great camper, we were able to have a carefree road trip!

The staff members were friendly and accommodating. But, it was a change of van last minute as there was a leaking pipe on the van we were supposed to have. This should have been sorted prior to our arrival. This meant that the van we received had a number of issues that we have spoken to customer support about: Eg. Leaking kitchen tap Broken window Broken cupboards No ladder Previous people’s dirty bedding and rubbish. Car seats were also unsuitable for infants - although this was refunded.

All good! Great time visiting Germany, Austria, and Italy.

Service was excellent! Vehicle is getting old and several items were worn or broken: shower door, third bed piece, some of the shades. Zach and Earnest were top notch in checking me out and in.

A special handbook for pecularities occuring in the winter while driving, sleeping and not freezing in a Diesel-powered van should be crafted. (s. other side) The two winter nights we slept outside were harsh and without running the engine idly, we would have not made it until the morning in a warm car. A 'particle filter' appeared shortly. Next day, the 4th of January we drove for over 200km, which should have, the mecanic said later, driven the particle overload out of the motor. But the second night was even colder, because of heavy wind thrusts and the snow they carried. In the morning, the alert sign started blinking permanently. Thus, we went to Nykoping VW Partner on Saturday afternoon and made a date with a mecanic on Monday morning. Then, the engine was computer-diagnosed and cleared out for about 2 hours, to work like a new again after the procedure. This szenario could have been evaded would we have had more information about max. idle time for loading the battery, a/o directing drivers to research for poss. open camping sides with active cables that one may pay next day. We could not realize our three-day-trip to Roskilde in the north of Sjaeland, but were lucky with the b&b our Support over whatsapp booked immediately and to our relief. The overall experience was therefor good or even comfortable, with two days of exception.

It would have been useful to have had a longer power cord as on several occasions we could not connect as the cord was quite short and we ended up buying one for €70 (which we left in the van too). Also had issues with water as didn’t have the right connector so bough a watering can to refill. Having the dust pan set was great for cleaning up. Bedding supplied was very basic so had to buy more due to cold weather. We had no mechanical issues with the van, it worked great. A few issues with the interior. For example on pickup told middle draw under sink didn’t close and given a roll of duct tape to hold it shut. Neither fly screen on the side windows worked (stuck and could not be pulled down) which was annoying on hot evenings. Tap in bathroom leaked so stopped using it. The biggest issue was that the toilet stopped flushing with four weeks of our trip to go. The online support team are great and try to help as much as possible - but unfortunately we couldn’t get that fixed on the road and had to work around it.

Thank you to provide special experiences for our family! Regarding room heating, I like to heat by fuel. That’s because, temperature of winter need much fuel. LPG is not enough for 2weeks travel beyond countries.

We really enjoyed our experience, however there were a few things that can be improved and what we expected to be in place - for example, the backseat adjuster was not fitted/damaged, there wasn't any wheel caps on the car and the internal heater did malfunction on certain times.

Friendly staff in Hamburg, nothing to complain about. But the gas bottle was almost empty, the second bed was not removed, although i asked for it, I was told, they are not allowed to remove it. This made for a very cramped space. The battery indicator of the main battery stated that the battery was almost empty. The car started without a problem, but a car should not be rented out with the main battery showing a red error indicator. Please remove the upper bed, if the customer asks for it.

I always have the best experience with the team at Indie Campers. They are my go to for camper rentals and always go the extra mile to make sure I have everything I need for my trip. I’m not an experienced camper by any means, and I’ve always managed to have a great trip wherever I’ve wandered off to. Highly recommend these guys!

They could equip the vehicles with adapters for French gas bottles, if you tell them that the itinerary will include France. Otherwise, excellent camper.
