We had a wonderful experience in renting from Indie Campers. The camper was easy to drive and did very well traveling through the mountains on Hwy 8 east of San Diego. It had lots of power and handled well. The pickup and dropoff was super easy and both John and Jeremy were very helpful and welcoming. We would recommend Indie Campers for anyone who is in need of a recreational vehicle in the San Diego area.

Both the person at pickup and dropoff were very helpful and patient. The Solis camper van was a bit small but very easy to drive. Well suited for our 2 week trip!

It’s an amazing experience! Would recommend to to it with friends bc everything becomes way more fun. The van was very good, we took it a bit off road and it worked perfectly.

I am terrible with names, but the guys at the San Diego location were great! There were some issues they had to resolve with headquarters during pickup and they were very accommodating during that process. They sent me out on the road fully informed and equipped for a great trip! We do a week long camping trip every year for Thanksgiving and will only rent from Indie Campers for as long as we are able to! Also are planning a road trip due to our experience!

An overall good experience, but we had some problemas with the propone and the alarm that detecta propone and CO, it went off esrly in the morning and firefighters were needed.

Overall experience was awesome. The only issue we had is that the shower door was not properly closing. So, when you shower,The water leaked under the shower door.

Drop-off was fine. We accidentally drove the camper to the parking lot where the personnel cleans it, not to the parking lot for drop-off but we could leave it there. We were done then. Although we were deducted some more money (as expected) due to exceeding the included amount of miles, we never saw an invoice for this, which I would expect if we are charged money.
I would recommend IndieCampers as the overall experience was positive, but would advice anyone to apply due caution and remain keen on any details and do a thorough vehicle inspection themselves before accepting it.
