Had a great time with a wonderful camper. Nothing to complain about, very nice that we were helped in Dutch 😁. Maybe a guide with highlights in the area. Placing wheel chocks horizontally at the campsite would be nice. Had a great time with a wonderful camper.

The local team was friendly enough and ready to help, however it took more time than we expected to prepare all the stuff for the trip (e.g. essential kit's toilet tablets were absent). Also the interior cleaning can be better - the roof tent floor was covered with hairs and dust so a better vacuum cleaning is needed. The tent itself requires some deep washing as well because it has a lot of stains on it. The interior table has signs of being repaired and it lead to the problem with opening and closing every time. The glass cover for a sink is absent. The water filling cap had poor connectors to the tank. That's why it was lost during the trip. However we bought a new one and Indie Campers accepted the refund as for 10.06.2024. Our Marco Polo was a travel ship for 4 wanderers and to be honest it was definitely enough for us (we are close friends). It is the best option if you want to stand freely (thanks to the rooftop tent) and to fit in all parkings you stay. The size of the van feels enormous only for the first day and after getting used it is driven like a normal car. Specifically compared to the bigger campers. The media system in our van supported Apple CarPlay and Android Auto we were quite excited about it. All the car info (tanks, electricity and etc) was easily accessible. Also please be advised that sleeping on the rooftop tent and inside the van is a completely different experience. On the rooftop tent there is more space and the mattress is more comfortable however during hot days (more than 25 degrees) it can become super stuffy if you don't pay attention where the shadow will be in the morning. On the bottom bed there is a little less space for sleeping but it always better in case of temperatures and freshness (thanks to the little window). Another advice is to put the fridge to a level 3. It was enough keep all the groceries cold and allowed us to rarely use the external electricity. Be careful with the interior table. It is really fragile, better to fully check it during the checkout.

The check-in was done by an intern. The explanation was clear, but she did not explain the most difficult part, namely the display. Fortunately, the friendly boss did that just before we left. It is positive that an intern gets a place in the company, but we had more confidence in the sympathetic boss. We had a problem finding the company. Nowhere on the industrial estate did we find any indications of where to go. The large garage door was closed, only a small door was open. Make sure that Indie campers are clearly visible through banners, directions, etc. Finally, it is important to show interest in the customer's journey.

The camper already had various damage when we picked it up. Both on the inside and the outside. Not very disturbing, but it didn't look neat. Especially at the beginning of the season (summer), you would expect everything to be completely new/not broken. On the inside, several roller blinds and insect screens were already slightly damaged. We had no further problems with it. :) We rented a BBQ; It turned out that we were not allowed to barbecue in many places because of the drought. So we were barely able to use the BBQ. Only 2x. Perhaps rent out a gas BBQ as an option next time? The bicycles were also not of very good quality. The tires were constantly soft, and even punctured after cycling twice. Shame! But everywhere we had a really nice holiday thanks to the camper. We would definitely book with you again :).

The check-in was too short, and the instructions did miss important points including the water tank, tubes with different adapters as well as the navigation of the display. The camper was in a great condition and all the stuff was there, unfortunately we had to figure out quite a lot on our own in the first couple of days. All in all we were still happy about the quick start and the great standard of the van. The check-out was much more comfortable and the staff was very helpful. After a quick check of the car, we were able to leave and continue our journey. We received all the information about the deposit and the next steps. Thank you for the van and hopefully we see each other for a next trip

More camper options for 5 people ;) and offer an optional shuttle service for the route Bilbao Airport - Bilbao Pick Up Station. Much more storage space than we thought! But we were glad we only arrived with hand luggage.

The vehicle was super clean and perfect, the local check-in went smoothly! Negative point: we only received a 1-person duvet instead of the requested (and promised) 2 person, which was super annoying during the trip, as one person had to sleap on the leather. Not very pleasant. The check-out went smooth too. But it is hard reaching you guys, when the issue is not road-assistance related: Example 1: I forgot something in the van and I still didn't get a respons whether they found it yes or no. I filed a case and send an email to madrid@indiecampers.com. Example 2: to request a 2-person duvet (we only received one for 1 person, which did not fit the bed), you can not text nor call anyone, while for me having a decent bed and sheets on our trip is the reason why we booked this van (+ basic kit) in the first place. The amount of effort you have to is too cumbersome.

There can be a note about the type C available in the van. we prepared ourselves for regular usb and didn't benefit from CarPlay. very welcoming team, no stress of check-out...

We ordered a portapotti which unfortunately did not operate correctly. The flush pump button was split so we had water spurting out on the floor. This needs to be checked before handing over to customers. We had no plastic glasses/tumblers so had to make do with mugs. It would have been nice to had some teaspoons. We missed advice if any at booking that no tea towel was provided. Igor @ Bilboa and Jonny @ Madrid were excellent. Thanks "Go Indie"!! Maurice & Gillian

They should consider when checking in and out that there are unforeseen circumstances that make it highly likely that we will not be able to attend at the agreed time (in our case, they changed our flight, we sent an email but we did not receive a response) and that caused us an unsatisfactory experience in the process, beyond the willingness of the staff to find a solution that allowed us to resolve the problem. As for the vehicle, it met all our expectations.

The check-in was really great, we just weren't shown the bathroom tap working so when we wanted to use it later that evening there was no water coming out. It turned out the hose was twisted and was stopping the water from flowing, but if it had been caught at check-in it could have been looked at straight away, good it wasn't something that required extensive repairs and we managed to fix ourselves. It's our second time using IndieCampers and we loved it again so much. We rented the same model of van twice. The Nomad is a great great, it has everything we needed for a trip around the Basque Country. It was easy to keep, had enough room and amenities that make traveling in a van easy (stove, fridge, shower, loo). We can't wait for the next trip!

When I arrived to check in, the employee had the TV on very loud. I could barely hear the explanations. I had to tell him to turn the volume down and he turned it down just a little, it was still quite loud. Otherwise, the service was very correct. Everything was great. The only thing I missed was a hose and/or a bag so I could put water in the tank.

Thank you for the pleasant service, perhaps for people who are renting a motorhome for the first time: just take an extra 5 minutes, then one thing or another will become clearer without having to ask a second time, otherwise friendly staff and new vehicles, we had fun. Friendly staff, cool experience for a reasonable price, I can happily recommend Indie Campers.
